Small "ZIPP" haberdashery chest of drawers, countertop.

Wooden frame (probably beech or birch veneer), with grooved fronts and the ZIPP logo silkscreened in red on a yellow background on each drawer.
The side also features a zipper graphic, a typical iconographic element of small parts and sewing accessories.

The interior compartments are simple, undivided, designed for quick cataloging of small items.

Era
 circa 1950s – early 1960s.
The typographic style, the very clear advertising graphics, and the functional layout clearly hark back to the postwar era, the height of the specialty furniture culture.

Original use
Countertop cabinet for a haberdashery/sewing shop, used to hold and organize:
• zippers (consistent with the ZIPP brand),
• buttons,
• needles,
• small textile items,
• small accessories.

It was a typical piece of technical furniture, positioned behind or above the counter.
