"Seta Bozzolo" Yarn Sample Cabinet – Italy, mid-20th century
A charming sample cabinet from a haberdashery or silk factory, made of veneered wood and featuring numerous pull-out drawers divided into internal compartments. Originating from the textile industry, it was used to store and display silk yarn shades, as evidenced by the color numbers still present inside the drawers and the original silkworm graphic.
The "Seta Bozzolo – Cordonetto Reale" brand appears on the front and sides, accompanied by elegant graphics typical of post-war Italian commercial communication. The compact structure and warm wood tone lend the piece a strong decorative, as well as documentary, character.
An authentic piece of industrial archaeology, ideal as a collector's item, desk piece, storage chest, or decorative curio for creative studios, ateliers, haberdashery shops, and interiors with a vintage-industrial feel.
