This refined set of four "Caprile" chairs designed by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassina in the 1980s is a perfect example of the designer's exploration of the relationship between structural rigor, comfort, and formal purity.

The chairs feature a black lacquered cylindrical frame over which an elegant brick-colored leather covering is stretched, featuring visible stitching and shaped to naturally follow the curves of the seat and backrest.
