Pair of brass candelabra, circa 1950s – architectural stepped line
A pair of elegant solid brass candelabras, characterized by a sculptural and perfectly symmetrical construction. The design unfolds through concentric stepped overlappings, a direct reference to rationalist architectural language and the late Art Deco geometries reinterpreted in the postwar period.
The structure is composed of:
• A wide base with concentric discs, slightly raised on small cylindrical feet.
• A slender central stem, punctuated by two decorative turned rings.
• A tealight holder, also molded in stepped patterns, culminating in a candle holder tube.
The brass features a natural, aged patina, with light oxidation and burnished highlights that add depth and authenticity to the surface. The workmanship is entirely turned, with the substantial thicknesses typical of Italian artisanal production of the 1950s.
