Formica bench

Each seat is made of Formica, an iconic material of mid-century design, appreciated for its resistance and ease of cleaning. The colors alternate pastel shades and more neutral tones: starting from the first place in the foreground we see an aqua green, then a light orange, followed by a gray and finally a turquoise blue. The backrests, also in Formica, take up the same shades with some variations of nuance, creating a harmonious and dynamic effect.

It is a bench that was probably intended for public spaces such as waiting rooms, schools or canteens, but today it would also be perfect as a piece of vintage design in a contemporary environment, perhaps in a creative studio or in an original entrance. The composition of the seats also makes it an excellent example of collective furniture with a nostalgic flavor.
