Full-figure sculpture depicting a young boy, made of polychrome plaster. French production attributable to the Delarue Picard factory, active in the second half of the 19th century in the production of high-quality serial decorative figures.
The figure features simple yet expressive modeling, with a smiling face, a slightly inclined posture, and naturalistic rendering of details. The clothing consists of a dark jacket with front buttons, a light-colored shirt, and light-colored trousers decorated with vertical stripes. There is a contrasting color element in the right hand.
Integrated circular base.
Condition:
Condition consistent with its age. Obvious signs of surface wear, widespread abrasions, loss of color, and small losses, particularly on the hair, jacket, feet, and base. The structure is intact.
