The Creso dining table, designed by Lella and Massimo Vignelli for Acerbis in 1988, is a strongly architectural design built around the purity of a few elementary geometric shapes and a single, substantial central base.

The large, clear glass tabletop rests on a cylindrical black metal capital, connected to the structure by metal elements. The base—also cylindrical—is finished in gold leaf, a finish documented in historical versions of the Creso model.

The transparency and visual lightness of the glass contrast with the monolithic, luminous presence of the gilded base: a minimalist yet dramatic composition that perfectly reflects the Vignellis' design language, in which proportion, material, and geometry serve as the decorative elements.
