coat stand with integrated mirror, typical of mid-century production (1950s–1960s), with a clear Northern European / Italian modernist influence.
Vertical coat rack composed of a veneered wood frame (probably teak or similar wood), combined with black-painted metal elements.
The upper section features three slanted metal hooks, each with a circular wooden knob, a functional and decorative detail, very consistent with the style of the period.
On the right side, a full-height shaped mirror is integrated, set in a soft, organic wooden frame, with small wooden spacers marking its vertical rhythm.
At the bottom, a vertical grid of wooden slats is attached to the metal frame. This element, often mistaken for an umbrella stand, is actually a bumper/support element designed to protect the wall and maintain visual order in the entryway (coats, bags, hats).
