Circular wall mirror composed of two overlapping elements:
• a perimeter band of smoked mirrored glass
• a neutral central mirror resting on top, not embedded in the frame
The central mirror is then applied and overlapped to the base (likely glued to a support), creating a slight difference in height between the two pieces of glass and a very clean and graphic layered effect.
The design is minimal and decorative, based exclusively on the contrast between:
• clear central mirror
• dark outer ring
Materials
• neutral mirrored glass (central element)
• smoked mirrored glass (frame/ring)
Period
→ decorative production attributable to the early/mid 1970s
