1960s Floor Lamp with a Rice Paper Shade

1960s Floor Lamp with a Rice Paper Shade
An elegant 1960s floor lamp featuring an essential, refined design; it consists of a slender black metal frame with a circular base and a large, conical rice paper shade.

The contrast between the linear structure and the lightness of the shade creates a harmonious balance, evoking the minimalist aesthetic and Japanese design influences characteristic of mid-century modernism.

With its delicate texture and warm, natural tones, the rice paper diffuses a soft, enveloping light—perfect for creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.
