This Sputnik chandelier attributed to Gaetano Sciolari has a chromed metal structure with a spherical design inspired by the iconic Soviet satellite.
It is composed of numerous thin and curved arms, each ending with small decorative spheres, which give the chandelier a similar appearance to a dandelion or a star explosion. The 12 bulbs, visible and evenly distributed along the structure, are placed in cylindrical metal lamp holders.
The chandelier is suspended from the ceiling by a metal chain connected to a chromed base. The overall design is elegant and futuristic, perfect for modern or vintage-inspired environments from the 60s and 70s.
